mozbackup, the best way to migrate / backup mozilla and firefox

If you use Windows you will need to format your hard disk from time to time (…). Or maybe you just want to update from XP to Vista (you sure?) or from XP to W7 (better).

Mozbackup is, IMHO, the best way to backup your mozilla (settings, bookmarks, stored cookies …) and thunderbird (settings, mails, …). It is really simple to use. Just install the soft BEFORE formatting your hard drive and click in “backup” your thunderbird and firefox. Save the resulting .pcv files to a DVD. Now format, then restore those .pcv.

MozBackup is compatible with:

* Firefox 1.0 – 3.6
* Thunderbird 1.0 – 3.0
* Sunbird 0.3 – 0.9
* Flock 1.0 – 2.0
* Postbox 1.0
* SeaMonkey 1.0a – 2.0
* Mozilla Suite 1.7 – 1.7.x
* Spicebird 0.4 – 0.8
* Songbird 1.0
* Netscape 7.x, 9.x
* Wyzo

This program is freeware and works on Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista. It’s developed in Czech republic.

Thanks to the czech guys for this amazing software! :)
